for The Washington Post Magazine
Rate Qualification
Only an advertiser engaged in retail-to-consumer business from its own permanent retail outlet in The Washington Post retail trading area is entitled to the local rates contained in this rate card. The retail trading area is comprised of the District of Columbia, the states of Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and West Virginia, and the counties of Pennsylvania that border the state of Maryland (Adams, Bedford, Chester, Franklin, Fulton, Lancaster, Somerset and York). Advertisers located in this area who otherwise qualify for local rates will be extended the retail rates.
Magazine Fulfillment of Newspaper Agreements
Full-run magazine advertising (including bind-in cards, blow-in cards, and preprinted inserts) counts towards Washington Post Retail advertising annual agreement fulfillment at 60 inches per page. VIP and other part-run advertising in The Magazine counts towards Retail advertising annual agreement fulfillment at a rate of 30 inches per page and towards monthly earned rates.
