Movie Distributor Rates
Rate Qualifications - Advertising for the release of films on DVD and VHS, display advertising promoting a specific theatrical release.
- Exhibitors of motion pictures (movie theaters) qualify for Directory and Limited Release advertising rates.
- Ad sizes may be adjusted during production and will be billed at the size ordered. In the event materials are received larger than ordered, The Washington Post reserves the right to publish and bill at the larger size.
- In order for a movie advertisement to qualify for Movie Distributor advertising rates, all local theaters playing the movie must be listed in the ad. Any Movie Distributor advertisement not qualifying for Movie Distributor advertising rates will be billed at General advertising rates. DVD/VHS advertisements and pre-opening advertisements are not subject to these qualifications.
